If there's an infinate amount of points between point A and point B (for example, .1 .2 .3) shouldn't it be technically impossible for us to get to point B from point A?

Hmm, it seems that you are too reliant ont the airbrush tool. You need to expand on things and move away from things you are most comfortable with. Give your pictures much more definate lines, fill things in, add nice shading, etc. And the blend tool is nice, but it must be used sparingly.
